Soft Skill Development

Our primary focus is to make the student employment ready: During the job application and interview process, employers look for applicants with two skill sets: hard skills and soft skills. Hard skills are teachable abilities. Typically, you’ll learn hard skills in the classroom, through books or other training materials in schools / College program, or on the job. Hard skills are easy to quantify [Percentage of marks obtained].

Soft skills, on the other hand, are subjective skills that are much harder to quantify. Also known as “people skills” or “interpersonal skills,” soft skills relate to the way you relate to and interact with other people.

A person’s soft skill is an important part of their individual contribution to the success of an organization. For this reason, soft skills are increasingly sought out by employers in addition to standard qualifications. Thus in absence of Soft skill- Employability is either NOT possible or very difficult. Soft skills includes – Social graces [manners & etiquettes], Communication [English language] skills, Personal habits, Interpersonal skills, Managing people, Leadership, Confidence building, Conflict Management, , Negotiation Skills, Team building and Decision Making etc.

Hard skills together with soft skills only ensure all-round development of the students and thereby equipping them to face life after college. The soft skills training provided to the students assist them in identifying and achieving their own personal potential.
